It was evening and we were still in Ayacucho. Standing around and studying our map, looking for a place to pitch our tent, a lady talked to us. A few minutes later we were invited into her home. We met her husband David, her son Joaquin, the twins Fernanda and Isabel and their dog Steven.
We stayed with the Cruz family for a few days, thanking them by giving language lessons to the kids and cooking Greek dishes.
Our home will always be open for you.
