From day one I started enjoying the different fruits the country had to offer. I’m very grateful for all the couchsurfers that hosted me and the people I met along the way had always something to offer. I explored different parts of the city and visited the ancient pyramid complex of Huaca Pucllana. But after a week I realised that the big city was not for me. The weather was quite depressing with its constant cloud cover and chilly temperatures. Not many things kept me there and I decided to leave and get to know the desert...
