Our first stop after Havana was Ancon beach near Trinidad. We set our hammocks there for a few days and called this little paradise our home. We spent our days swimming, reading and eating a lot of pizza from a little pizza-baking stand.
We befriended the local beach bar employees and night guards, one of who was a priest from the nearby village who on top of working as a priest and a night guard he was collecting beer cans to sell the aluminium. Gladly of course we gave him a hand.
