The World Scout Jamboree takes place every four years only and every time on a different continent. This time, we couldn't believe our luck : it was right on our route, at the Bechtel Summit Reserve in West Virginia. Aaron dropped us at the visitor centre next to the entrance late in the evening and we managed to sort of "sneak into" the volunteers' camp.
In the morning we went to the headquarters to offer our help and ask for permission to stay. Unfortunately that was not possible, so we went back to the visitor center, bought day passes and spent the rest of the day in the visitor grounds where we met scouts from all over the world.
