We spent 2 nights at the Greek Orthodox Holy Protection monastery in rural Pennsylvania. The nuns were so nice with us and we painted the small chapel of Saint Nicholas. The amount of work and care given to the grounds is astonishing given the limited number of nuns present. We wish we could stay more but we had to go on with our journey. Next stop, Amish Country!
