The hostel was our home for over two weeks. Not having to carry our backpacks around but having a key in our pocket is a big deal for us. We got the opportunity to work for our lodging, so Panos did different cleaning, building and sorting jobs.
We could cook in the big kitchen and share meals with the other travellers that soon became our friends. Owner Matt organised a special lunch on the roof and for the first time in our lives we celebrated Christmas in summer clothes and drinking cold beers under the sun.
