Our next stop was Wellington, Florida. The Durtschis' good friends live there and knew we were coming their way. Chuck and Cyndi Higgins welcomed us in their home for two nights.
We got a little maths challenge (tough for some of us), went for walks with Pete, their adorable dog, had a swim in the pool, prepared food together and had a great evening, at which theit daughter Lisa joined us.
On our last day with them we went for our first ever baseball game (the Miami Marlins Vs. the Atlanta Braves) and it was "Bark at the Park" day, so Pete could come too. He even had his own ticket! Like true fans we stuck to the tradition and did what they call "tailgating". Basically you have a little pre-party with drinks and picnic at the back of your car. We loved it and enjoyed the game and the whole fan experience very much! Thank you for this great time!
