We started talking with Chip and Beth Durtschi in a pizzeria and before we knew it we were at their house, invited to stay over. :-)
Our things were wet (it rained a lot in the past few days) and our clothes were dirty. At their place we were able to fix all that and we were very grateful for the opportunity to take a break and recharge. It actually took us a good few days to get back to normal.
During our stay we were happy to be able to help around the house. I did some gardening, Nikoletta took over the kitchen. We enjoyed their company and our conversations a lot.
We are deeply thankful for their hospitality! Meeting Chip and Beth was one of our most cherished experiences and the invitation to return the favour in Greece still stands of course. :-)
