# 20 - Greek community of Huntington, West Virginia

We spent the night in our hammocks close to the Greek food place "Jolly Pirate". Very early in the morning Mr. Giorgos, the owner, woke us up cheerfully shouting "Kalimera!". We got coffee and donuts for breakfast and were invited to attend mass since it was a Sunday. And that's what you do on Sundays if you are a Greek person in Huntington. :-)

We ended up staying in the church apartment for one night, where we undertook a small painting project! The people of the orthodox community, greeks and non-greeks alike, were incredibly welcoming, generous and supportive. Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ για όλα!
